Hannah's Hope

Mike and I are very excited to announce the creation of Hannah's Hope Charity. We have decided to start a not-for-profit charity in Hannah's name!!! We are currently filling out the paper work with the government to become an official 501 (c) 3 charity. The application is a small book and the directions are even bigger. Let's hope all goes well. Our goal is to raise money for research and local organizations benefiting kids. This year we will be donating to First Steps of Northwest Indiana. First Steps in an early intervention program for kids birth to 3 years old. It is a state run program. They provide kids with services such as, physical therapy, speech, occupational therapy, dietician, etc. They also provide needed equipment for the kids. Hannah currently receives several therapies thru this program and we want to make sure it keeps going. The best part about donating money to First Steps is that we are not only helping Hannah but we are also helping tons of other kids in the Northwest Indiana area.

We are currently looking for another organization and a place that is doing research related to pediatrics and the brain. If anyone knows of a great program that we should consider we would love to hear about. For our 501 (c) 3 application we need to be as specific as possible as to the plans of our donations.

Be sure to check out the website and learn about our first annual Hannah's Hope charity golf outing!!!
