Love and Hope

A family friend wrote this beautiful poem for Hannah and I thought I would share it with everyone.

Love and Hope
By Chris Taggart
Although it may be hard right now to think about tomorrow,
Today the news seems hard to hear and is bringing with it sorrow
Your mind it wanders steadily as it's trying just to cope
But the wonder of tomorrow brings a bountiful of hope.
The wishes from both far and near for bringing peace and health
A healing touch from God above with all his might and stealth.
Although no explanation could begin to help you through
The power of great love and prayers are being sent to you
For Hannah is but an angel whose work is never done
We hope to witness her special work with laughter joy and fun.
Sometimes the work that God has planned can be hard to understand
But we know deep down that life itself is in someone else's hand
We never know the master plan or what tomorrow may bring
May you find some simple joy in a smile or lullaby you sing
The wonder of a miracle and angels filled with love
We're asking God to send you both from heaven up above
Please know you're not alone in all that lies ahead
Some people will be there at your side, others silently praying instead
For amazing things can happen when it's love and hope we share
While no words can express our feelings, know that many people care
May God bless you, Hannah, and your entire family now and forever!
